Honolulu Zoos & Aquariums
Inside of the Honolulu Zoo are a variety of animal habitats, including an African savanna, a rainforest and a petting zoo. More than 750,000 people visit the zoo each year, with its roots extending back to 1874 as a 300-acre park established by the King. It is open daily from 9am to 4:30pm.
This aquarium is located inside the DFS Galleria shopping center. Also known as "The Tube" because of its shape, guests can walk through the structure, viewing manta rays and exotic fish swimming above and on both sides. The aquarium is two-stories tall and holds more than 65,000 gallons of water.
