Honolulu Theatres & Auditoriums
The Diamond Head Theatre has been producing live musicals and plays for the citizens of Oahu since 1915. Each season, this community theater provides six mainstage theatrical productions which include five major musicals. Rental services, theater workshops, acting lessons, voice lessons and dance classes are offered as well.
This beautiful theater opened its curtains in 1922, operating as a showplace for vaudeville, musicals, silent films and plays. However, after it fell into disrepair in 1984, it didn't open reopen its doors until 1996. Today the Hawaii Theatre is a 1400-seat, multi purpose performance center that is listed on the National Registers of Historic Places.
