    Nuuanu Pali Lookout Honolulu
    This lookout was the site where one of the highest international soaring records was established. On December 18, 1931, using just a glider, William A. Cocke Jr was able to stay in the air for 21 hours and 34 minutes.

    Mount Tantalus Lookout
    The Mount Tantalus Lookout at Puu Ualakaa Park features panoramic views of Diamond Head, Waikiki, Punchbowl Crater, the Manoa Valley, University of Hawaii, Pearl Harbor and Makiki Valley. There are several trails through the Honolulu Forest Reserve that lead up to the 2,000 ft. summit. Visitors should except to take out anywhere from two hours to the whole day to reach the peak.

    Aloha Tower

    Standing tall at 184 ft, this Hawaiian landmark was built in 1926, overlooking Honolulu Harbor. An observation deck is located on the 10th floor, providing sweeping views of entire harbor, as well as acting as a harbor control and maritime communications center. Currently, the tower houses an array of shops, restaurants and bars.
